Acabo de recibir esto de un digest sobre noticias... (aun no me ha llegado
el Nature de 8 Mayo, espero que la semana que viene lo tenga y os contare).

EVIDENCE FOR EVOLUTIONARY DECLINE IN HUMAN BRAIN AND BODY SIZE
A team of bio- and paleoanthropologists headed by Christopher
Ruff (Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore MD) has reported that
application of correlations of two different human skeletal
parts to body mass and body height to nearly 200 human fossil
remains indicates that human body height and cranial capacity
peaked about 50,000 years ago and have been declining ever
since. The decline is substantial, approximately 10 per cent,
and follows a tremendous spurt in both parameters between 1.8
million years ago and 50K years ago. Measurements in
contemporary skeletons were made of the diameter of the femoral
head and the bi-iliac pelvic breadth, and correlated with body
mass. (Nature 8 May)

Al final, que como siempre, no somos nada, ... y cada vez menos!

ja!
