No standards. Just this: Who Did What, And With Which, And To Whom?
Anything beyond this is embellishments, not substance. Musicology cannot be
scientific, because the salient aspect of the scientific method is that its
results are predictable. There is nothing predictable in musicology, not in
its processes, not in its debates and certainly not in its people.
