Hello Gang,
            Some people are saying the the alien signal way be an
elaborate hoax linked to the 60th anniversary celebration of the  Orson
Welles' 1938 Mercury Theatre radio broadcast Martian Invasion of the
earth beginning with Grover's Mill New Jersey. The new of the signal
just broke out some 5 days before the October 30th anniversary.

You can listen to the original 1938 Orson Welles broadcast of the "War

On October 30, 1938 young Orson Welles and his newly formed Mercury
Theater group,
 broadcast their radio adaptation of H.G.Wells "War of the Worlds."  At
8PM that Sunday evening an alarmed audience, of approximately 12 million
people heard that Martians had begun an invasion of earth. This event
caused mass hysteria and changed broadcast history forever.
